When a customer or business requires a ‘same-day’ delivery service, tomorrow and beyond simply isn’t good enough!
At Logistics World, we can be asked to deliver all manner of products under our same day delivery offering.
From sensitive documentation via our courier service, to time critical automotive and aeronautical parts, which if delayed could cause a production line to come to an abrupt halt, when time is of the essence and an urgent delivery is required, tomorrow is often too late!
A time critical delivery can be the difference between life and death
In some instances, a time critical delivery can be the difference between life and death, and that’s certainly true in the medical world.
Frequently involved in delivering medical equipment or life-saving drugs, Logistics World realises the urgency of these requests, and the impact any delays could have on a persons’ health or wellbeing. Therefore, our same-day service is available all day, every day and even at weekends. We aim to immediately respond to a booking and deliver anywhere in the UK or Europe, using our GPS-tracked fleet.
What can you transport under an ADR license?
Having been involved with delivering urgent PPE, including hand sanitisation that requires transporting under an ADR license due to its combined high alcohol content, when we were contacted to see if we could urgently deliver Covid19 testing kits, of course we pulled out all the stops!
After juggling a few jobs around, Logistics World was able to react to an urgent request to deliver 4000 Covid19 testing kits, transporting them from one hub to another.
The manufacturer of the kits had already booked their time critical delivery with another logistics company, but at the last minute they were let down! That’s when they called Logistics World.
- Tim Wilson, MD of Logistics World
Along with further deliveries of PPE, Logistics World has subsequently made more deliveries of Covid19 testing kits for this client.
Our drivers always carry full PPE on their vehicles, and with many of them holding a hazardous goods license, it wasn’t a question of if we could help but when!
