Did you enjoy work today?

As part of our expansion plans in 2021, Logistics World has recently invested in adding to our fleet, and taken on both additional drivers and staff to co-ordinate the ‘behind the scenes’ operation.

Keen to support eager young people in finding a vocation that they enjoy, a number of our new starters have joined Logistics World under the government’s Kickstarter scheme. This popular initiative has been designed to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds, initially for a six month period, with a view to offering them a job role at the end of the term.

The workplace environment should be such that the staff who work there are happy and content, and actually enjoy coming to work. Whether that involves our drivers having a safe and reliable vehicle, that complies with the clean city air zone initiatives, or the office staff banter, happy staff are the best staff to have!

- Tim Wilson, Managing Director at Logistics World

The new additions to our fleet include several Euro 6 HGV vehicles, which comply with London’s Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and central Birmingham’s clean air zone. These vehicles allow us to transport our much heavier loads, complementing our Luton tail-lift and long wheel based vans that can transport up to 1200kg, and our smaller courier vans which will accommodate just one pallet of up to 400kg.

As we increase our fleet, we are also keen to update any existing vehicles that have yet to be updated with our new look livery, which was designed by the talented team at Bluflame.

Whether it was down to the hot and humid July weather, or the simple fact that at Logistics World, we like to work hard and play hard, but the photoshoot certainly had its fair share of fun!

We’re so pleased with our new look livery, that we decided to employ the services of JCFX Media in early July to photograph both the re-branded vehicles and our staff.

As well as taking more formal and corporate headshots of some of our team members, there were plenty of outtakes too!

JCFX Media really captured the very essence of what Logistics World stands for – ‘a dependable and happy transport company who always deliver!’
