Much of Logistics World charity work facilitates the use of the company vehicles, and we always try to help!

Logistics World has always been proud of its active approach to its corporate social responsibility (CSR). From supporting charities and voluntary work, to simply lending a hand, Logistics World always delivers on its promises as well as its loads!
Such a strong ethos usually starts at the top, so it’s no surprise that Tim Wilson, the owner and MD of Logistics World is an ambassador of undertaking voluntary roles himself.

As well as being a coach for the Veseyans under 8’s rugby club and a local councillor, earlier this year he donated some of his free time to marshal at a Covid vaccination centre. Tim is also an active member of the chamber of commerce and BNI, whose networking philosophy is based on ‘givers gain’, a sentiment that resonates with Tim and indeed his team.

Only last week ChangesUK, an organisation which supports those with drug or alcohol addictions on their journey from ‘dependence to independence’ put a call out for some transport help. They needed a quantity of charity buckets collecting from a central point, then delivering to some Lloyds bank branches including Coventry, central Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Like so many of these types of requests, Tim and the Logistics World team were delighted to be able to help.
So, whether it’s a call out for the collection of Christmas trees to be recycled in and around the Birmingham area, the collecting of unwanted clothes, or providing transport to the starting point for the bicycles that a group of cyclists are using to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats, in order to raise money, Logistics World will always try and help.
Whilst we tend to rotate our charity choice, The Stan Bowley Trust missed out on the usual amount of annual support it received last year.
- Tim Wilson, MD at Logistics World
In fact, this epic bike ride was to raise money for The Stan Bowley Trust, which just so happens to be the Logistics World chosen charity for both 2020 and 2021.

Based in Lichfield, this charity champions a non-invasive alternative treatment to open cancer surgery called Cyberknife, working tirelessly to raise both awareness and much needed funds.
When the opportunity to sponsor their annual ball came up, Logistics World was only too happy to oblige, and it didn’t disappoint as a great evening was had by all!
