Logistics World has recently been assisting many of the UK’s national house builders with deliveries, and as such, any of our drivers who have been involved in delivering to these sites will have all successfully passed The Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
Like every notable construction, Logistics World has been built on its solid foundations of being a professional, trusted and dependable transport provider. We instill these beliefs across the business, and attribute them to be among the many reasons why our customers and clients regularly and repeatedly utilise our services.
Recently, Logistics World has been assisting many of the UK’s national house builders with deliveries of both construction materials and valuable internal fittings including kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
Our HGV’s and Luton fleet has been responsible for transporting heavier building materials and the kitchens and bathrooms for a number of plots, whilst our same day courier service has helped avoid unnecessary delays when cabinets, sanitaryware or appliances have been missing or mislaid.
Compliance and safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and as such, our drivers who have been involved in delivering to any these sites have all successfully passed The Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
More commonly known by its acronym, the CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry, to ensure that anyone working on construction sites in the UK has the appropriate training and qualifications. Although it is not a legislative requirement, most of the UK’s major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold this card.
Primarily trained under the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), all individuals who hold a CSCS card will have completed a course in health and safety awareness, specific to the construction industry and passed two exams.
We always put the health and safety of our staff first and foremost, and even though it was not a legal requirement, we decided that all our drivers involved in delivering to construction sites should and must be properly aware and trained.
