Meet the team – Cameron Dyson our Warehouse Operative

Having recently joined us under an apprenticeship scheme, Cameron has already become a very valued member of the warehousing operative team.

Meet Cameron Dyson, who is the newest member of the Logistics World team, joining us as a Warehouse Operative under an apprenticeship scheme. Like all our staff, Cameron is already a very valued member of our team, especially as he is also assisting in being a helpful second pair of hands when our two man delivery service is necessary.

To help you get to know Cameron a little better, we asked him the following questions:

Q. Have you always worked in transport?

A. My first job after leaving school was merely a ‘stop gap’ as I have been working in a branch of the fast food restaurant ‘Slim Chickens’, so when the opportunity of an apprenticeship scheme arose, I decided to apply. I am so glad that I did as I can already see the many potential opportunities here at Logistics World.

Q. What’s the worst traffic jam you’ve ever been in?

A. It was a two hour standstill traffic jam, and every minute we were stuck felt more like 10 minutes, but I’m guessing my parents felt exactly the same too!

Q. What did you dream of becoming when you were a child?

A. Like so many children, I loved to play football and dreamed of being able to play professionally, ideally for Manchester United which is the team I support.

Q. Have you passed your driving test and did you pass first time?

A. No, I haven’t started having lessons yet, but learning to drive is definitely something that I want to do sooner rather than later.

Q. What do you most like to listen to whilst in the car? (radio, podcast, streaming music)

A. As long as there’s music playing, I’m happy!

Q. What form of public transport do you prefer and why? (air, boat, train, bus etc)

A. A plane, because it means I’m going on holiday.

Q. Instagram or Facebook?

A. Instagram 100%!

Q. If you could holiday anywhere, where would you like to travel to?

A. I’d like to visit Amsterdam, ideally just before Christmas.
