Taking on the role of Sales Executive, whilst many of you may have already spoken to Darrien since she started working at Logistics World, to help you to get to know her just a little better, we asked Darrien the following questions:
Q. Did you pass your driving test first time?
A. No, but I’m hoping that the cliché ‘all the best drivers pass second time around’ is true!
Q. What would be your ideal car?
A. Any type of Mercedes.
Q. How did you hear about the Kickstart scheme?
A. My course advisor mentioned about it, along with apprenticeship schemes in general. I decided to find out more, and I’m so glad that I did!
Q. What’s the best thing about working at Logistics World?
A. Definitely the people. My colleagues are very easy to get along with and the overall environment at Logistics World is really enjoyable too.
Q. What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
A. Ditsy, fussy and funny!
Q. Red, amber (aka yellow) or green?
A. Yellow, because it’s such a cheery colour.
Q. What did you dream of becoming when you were a child?
A. Like many little girls, I dreamed of being princess.
Q. Dog or cat?
A. Cat, although I certainly don’t want to ever be a crazy cat lady!
Q. Do you have any hobbies or do any voluntary work?
A. Not currently, but now I’m happy and settled in employment, I would like to start doing a hobby.
Q. If you could travel anywhere, where would you pick?
A. The Maldives
