Meet the team – Gemma Morgan our Customer Service Liaison

Like all our staff, Gemma is already a very valued member of our team.

Meet Gemma Morgan, our new Customer Services Liaison, who has recently joined the Logistics World team. Like all our staff, Gemma is already a very valued member of our team, calling clients who haven’t used our services in recent months, and calling our current customers to ensure that Logistics World is providing the exemplary service it always aims to deliver.

Even if you’re already spoken to Gemma, to help you get to know her a little better, we asked her the following questions:

Q. Have you always worked in transport?

A. Having had a career break for five years, I’m loving being back at work, having previously volunteered at a local school whilst working as a Removal Co-ordinator for Movecorp, so there’s definitely a synergy with my previous job and working at Logistics World.

Q. What’s the worst journey you’ve ever been in?

A. We had been in Rhyl, and the headgasket went on the car, so we had to be recovered by a low loader. It was definitely memorable, but for all the wrong reasons, as it took seven hours to bring us home from Wales.

Q. What did you dream of becoming when you were a child?

A. Having been an only child, I’ve always enjoyed being with other children and I wanted to become a nursery nurse when I was younger.

Q. Have you passed your driving test and did you pass first time?

A. I love driving, so when I finally passed after four attempts, I was so happy!

Q. What do you most like to listen to whilst driving? (radio, podcast, streaming music)

A. Having two children who like to chat (and occasionally squabble), there’s never any need for background noise!

Q. What form of public transport do you prefer and why? (air, boat, train, bus etc)

A. I find travelling by train very relaxing… it’s lovely to sit back and watch the world go by.

Q. Instagram or Facebook?

A. It’s got to be Facebook for me!

Q. If you could holiday anywhere, where would you like to travel to?

A. I’m a bit of a home bird, and love to holiday here in the UK, especially Devon.
