Transport runs in Tim’s DNA, and he has always been surrounded by logistics, as his family owned a transport company. Back in 1996, and aged just 16, Tim first started working in the family business, and his passion for the industry has grown in line with his career.
Roll on some 25 years later and Tim’s enthusiasm for his career path remains as strong as ever.
Working in the world of logistics isn’t just a career choice - it’s a lifestyle choice! Frequently working unsociable hours, and ultimately being on call 24/7 is ‘part and parcel’ of the job, but it’s a job I chose and it’s a job I love!

Logistics World continues to grow and goes from strength to strength. Along with two new Kickstart apprentices who joined the Logistics World team earlier this year, three new staff have joined us in April, and we are currently recruiting in line with our expansion plans for 2021.
It was a natural progression to be able to form my own transport company and I’m extremely proud of the success of Logistics World and the team behind this success!
Earlier this year, more of our drivers became trained in the safe carriage of ADR (dangerous goods) consignments. This re-investment in training our team is ongoing, as is our investment in the Logistics World transport itself, having recently added several Euro 6 HGV vehicles to our fleet. These vehicles are classed as being more environmentally friendly and are also compliant with the recently introduced Direct Vision Standard (DVS) for transporting goods into Greater London.
