Having joined Logistics World in 2020 as our office administrator, recently promoted Rhiann Hughes is enjoying her new role as Finance Manager.
It’s hard to believe that Rhiann Hughes, one of our highly valued staff members has been an integral team member at Logistics World for over three years now!
Having joined us back in 2020 as our office administrator, Rhiann was initially responsible for looking after customer proof of deliveries, filing important documents and helping with any customer queries, but was quickly promoted to take on the role of Office Manager in early 2021 where she excelled in her responsibilities both in the office and in her positive work ethos.
Like so many of our staff, when an opportunity arises, rather than automatically look to recruit externally, we always look to promote from within our teams wherever possible.
Our staff are our greatest assets, and recognition is something that I firmly believe in. From ensuring that all staff members are fully trained, to understanding their career aspirations and ambitions, it makes total sense to look after and invest in the teams that we have.
Rhiann is a driven individual who is hungry to learn and excel, and so when the opportunity of the Finance Manager became available, Rhiann was excited to learn more about the role, and duly accepted it.

Recently promoted Rhiann is now responsible for Logistics World accounts department, chasing up any invoices owing, paying suppliers invoices, looking after the weekly payroll and liaising with customers regarding any payment queries.
I’m really enjoying my new role. As Office Manager, I was already speaking to all our valued customers, but more in an administrative capacity. This new role still allows me to be in contact with them, but from a financial point of view.
Logistics World is a fabulous company to work for, no two days are ever the same, and I actually look forward to coming to work!
